Dandelion Honey from the Langhe Unesco Heritage Site 250g

OUT OF STOCK
£6.50 GBP

Made in the heart of the Unesco Heritage site of the Langhe, in Piedmont, Montaldo Dandelion is an intense honey, with very fine crystals, slightly pungent and sweet on the palate. Amber in colour when in a liquid texture, ones crystallised it turns cream/yellow.

Smooth, intense, it is absolutely delicious on some toasted bread and butter.

Please note: the picture was taked at one stage of the dandelion honey, in which the crystals were already present, giving the honey a more "solid" look. You may receive one that is actually of the latest harvest, different in look and consistency. If unsure, please contact us and we'll provide a picture of the honey in its most current state.

Producer Learn more about who made this product.

Made and harvested in the Langhe Region, the Unesco Heritage Site in Piedmont, this honey has a story of its own.

In June 2018, we were driving around the Langhe with Red (the beetle, our vintage car also providing the name to our previous company), and showed up at Matteo's door, completely unannounced. He welcomed us, let us taste the different honeys you see here in our shop and also Matteo's mum grappa made with cherries' leaves, which was to die for.

A year later, we went back to visit the bees and the hives, which was a fascinating experience in itself. We are proud to support young and dedicated producers like Matteo Montaldo.
