Delicate, with a very unique flavour and taste, it requires to be handled with care. Great to make a spaghetti sauce, simply add extra virgin olive oil and basil.

A quick recipe: in a saucepan, pour a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil with garlic, leave for a few minutes. Add the crushed San Marzano tomatoes, and cook for 10-15 minutes at medium heat. Meanwhile cook the Spaghetti and when ready, toss in the saucepan, adding a few tablespoon of water from the pasta. Serve with freshly cut basil and drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Serve and enjoy (a little grated pecorino cheese goes a long way too!)

Store in a cool dry place. After opening, store in an airtight container and consume within 2-3 days.

Sweet but slightly tart

I love to use these tomatoes for sauces, not only in Italian recipes but also for curries. They are sweet but with a degree of tartness that lifts the sauce. Delivery is always prompt and reliable.
