Best before date: 30/09/2024

Discover the timeless delight of our Clara Tin with Original Recipe Cantucci Biscuits, a culinary journey that traces back to the year 1858 when Antonio Mattei unveiled his personal twist on a northern Italian classic. Known globally as Cantucci or cantuccini, these biscuits redefine the ordinary – almonds and pine nuts imparting a delightful crunch, a subtle sweetness, and universal love.

Savour the authentic experience of Antonio Mattei's Cantuccini at the end of a meal, paired with a small glass of sweet wine such as Passito or Vin Santo, or enjoyed with tea or coffee. Producer Learn more about who made this product.

In the centre of Prato, Tuscany, you can find a little shop that has been opened since 1858. Every morning before 10am, using the original recipe Antonio Mattei personally created, cantucci come out of the oven and the entire via Ricasoli smells like biscuits.

They first appeared on the International scene at the 1867 Universal Exposition (World Expo) in Paris, becoming popular all over Europe. Today, the Pandolfini family looks after the brand with the same care and love its original creator intended, allowing us to bring the original cantuccini di Prato to your tables.
