Considered the young Jedi-master of sparkling wines, Roberto Garbarino runs a tiny cantina in the outer reaches of Neviglie, a small town near Barbaresco. Roberto’s Alta Langa is considered some of the top Metodo Classico sparkling wines in the region and his Rosato is simply one of the very best 100% Pinot Noir blush from Piedmont we have ever tasted.

Taste | Medium structure, well-balanced acidity and a long persistent aftertaste. |
Colour | Pale pink with salmon reflections. Fine and persistent perlage. |
Fragrance | Citrusy with hints of red apple, pink grapefruit and bread crust. |

Vinification | Soft pressing, plus 1st fermentation in steel vats at 14°C. Second fermentation in the bottle for 1 month at 14°C. |
Ageing | In the bottle on yeasts for 30/40 months with a regular remuage of the bottles. |
