Chestnut Honey from the Langhe Unesco Heritage Site 250g
Made in the heart of the Unesco Heritage site of the Langhe, in Piedmont, Montaldo Chestnut Honey is bitterish, with notes of floral and balsamic. Astringent in taste, slightly tannic, it goes well with strong flavours and also slighlty smoked dishes.
Ideal with meat, game and aged cheeses, it goes well with strong flavours and also slighlty smoked dishes. Great also with fresh cheeses such as ricotta, Tuscany caciotta, Caciocavallo, but it reaches perfection with aged cheese such as Parmigiano Reggiano. It also goes perfectly with black tea, non-fruity red wines and craft beers.
