Perfect with salads, raw vegetables and grilled meats. Because of its organic origin, this may also be an excellent ally to your gut health (some of our customers have one tablespoon every morning).

Giuseppe Russo was born 1928 in a small town called Belpasso, in the Sicilian province of Catania, at the foot of Mount Etna. Coming from a farming family, he loved his land greatly and in 1950 decided to build a small Oil Mill to fulfil his dream: transform the marvellous fruits of his fertile land, the Nocellara olives, into an exquisite extra virgin olive oil.

His daughter Giusi loved working side by side Giuseppe, becoming familiar with this ancient art and learned the secrets of the Oil Mill. After Giuseppe’s passing, 22 year old Giusi left the university and took over the reins of her family business. Her resilience and hard work made what Oleificio Russo is today, a respected business producing one of the finest extra virgin olive oils in the market.
