Artist Stella Tasca Limited Edition The Rooster Extra Virgin Olive Oil 500ml

£44.50 GBP

"No more feathers but life itself."

Designed by artist Stella Tasca, this latest Frantoio Muraglia jar is a symbolic transposition that represents the link between the earth and life itself. With bright colours that revisits the Apulian ceramic culture, Tasca shows us the path of rebirth and its visceral link with nature.

The tail and the crest of the rooster, symbol of the animal's pride, become olive leaves guarding what is dearest to Frantoio Muraglia: extra virgin olive oil and the desire to enrich your homes with unique jars.

Its intense flavour will work wonders on a simple tomato bruschetta or to finish a soup.

100% cold pressed Coratina olives from Apulia, Italy

Producer Learn more about who made this product.

Affectionately known as capatosta, a nickname that in Italian means stubborn, the Muraglia family has been looking after their land and its olive trees for over five generations, down to the tiniest detail. Not far from their olive groves, the century od stone mill works non stop during the harvest, allowing Frantoio Muraglia to crush their olives within 4 hours from picking, quite the rarity. The Coratina and Peranzana olives are the varieties chosen by Frantoio Muraglia as the epitome of the Apulia region, offering both intense and medium fruitness, to suit every table, cooking style and cuisine.

Perfect for my kitchen

Only just opened the lovely bottle and tried the oil. It’s very light and fruity. Like it a lot.

Great flavour

This wonderful olive oil is magnificent on a Salad Caprese, just brings it to life. My favourite is a little drizzled on Spaghetti sminuzzati al brodetto di masculini, just makes the finishing touch, “Bellissimo"
