San Marzano Tomatoes DOP VeroPop Collection - Bundles

£8.55

A delicate tomato, grown in the fertile lands around Naples and Salerno, this Italianavera San Marzano DOP tomatoes have a very distinctive taste and flavour. With the peel removed through the process, these tomatoes are preserved in a soft San Marzano juice.

A quick recipe: in a saucepan, pour a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil with garlic, leave for a few minutes. Add the crushed San Marzano tomatoes, and cook for 10-15 minutes at medium heat. Meanwhile cook the Spaghetti and when ready, toss in the saucepan, adding a few tablespoon of water from the pasta. Serve with freshly cut basil and drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Serve and enjoy (a little grated pecorino cheese goes a long way too!)

Ideal for preparing delicious sauces, and the perfect companion for pizza. Also the only one allowed by the Academy of Pizza Verace in Naples That must mean something!

Grown, picked and processed in Campania, Italy.
